Our latest update looks back at the extreme weather experienced over the summer and explores how the scheme will support the UK’s drought resilience and ensure future water supplies for canal navigation. We also explain what we have been up to since our last update and how are we engaging with stakeholders across the scheme’s route, as well as give an overview of what comes next as we work towards our Development Consent Order application in 2027.
